EmbedFlow is a product of OpenCircuit that lets you generate, build, and flash microcontroller firmware from your browser. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. We keep it minimal — we only collect what the product needs to work.
What we collect
- Account — your email, and (if you sign in with Google) your name and profile photo.
- Onboarding — the display name, role, boards, and referral source you provide when you set up your account.
- Project content — the prompts you write and the firmware/wiring we generate for you.
- Usage — pages viewed, features used, and (optionally) session replays, to understand and improve the product.
- Technical — browser type, device, and IP-derived approximate location, collected automatically.
How we use it
To run your account, generate and build firmware, provide support, understand how the product is used, and improve it. We do not sell your personal data.
Third parties we use
- Supabase — authentication and database (your account + profile).
- Google — optional sign-in.
- PostHog — product analytics and session replay (form inputs are masked).
- Amazon SES — transactional email (sign-in and confirmation links).
- AI providers — your prompts are sent to a large-language-model provider to generate firmware.
Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Cookies
We use cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser, but sign-in will not work without the essential ones.
Your choices
You can view and edit your profile in Settings, and delete your account at any time — deleting removes your account and associated data. To request a copy of your data, email us.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
